Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Executive Assistant - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Manages executives’ calendars and independently schedules appointments.

  • Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.

  • Takes and transcribes dictation, and composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.

  • Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings, and accompanies supervisor when required.

  • Initiates required administrative reports; gathers, compiles and reports information relevant to executive’s assignment.

  • Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information and/or invitations.

  • Oversees all aspects of executive suite entertainment.

  • Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.

  • Arranges, organizes and administers filing systems for executives.

  • Administers executives’ event ticket allocation.

  • Handles monthly credit card reconciliation.

  • Other duties will be assigned.

     

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Proficient computer skills; Windows based operating system, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, co-workers and public. Must be professional and courteous.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; work under pressure.

  • Able to handle confidential information.

  • Must be flexible and multi-task.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Must be able to operate office equipment; PC, fax, phones and copy machine.

Graphic Designer/Social Media Engagement Coordinator - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic, driven individual to work in our marketing department as a Graphic Designer & Social Media Engagement Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that requires the ability to deliver timely, creative, design support and solutions. The marketing department is responsible for visual communications including development of all sales and marketing materials such as sales collateral and digital graphics.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the creative aspects for River Cats branding, marketing materials including: print, online, TV, radio, billboards, etc.

  • Assist with the creation, editing, and printing of sales and marketing collateral pieces.

  • Assist and coordinate any non-traditional marketing efforts (distributing flyers/pocket schedules/mascot appearances and creating flyers for these events).

  • Assist with updating and managing rivercats.com and raleyfield.com.

  • Manage team’s Twitter account and responsibly update page with humorous, pop-culture statuses daily.

  • Develop content (graphics, campaigns, videos, etc.) to be used on all social media platforms.

  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts.

  • Provide input, ideas and concepts for the overall marketing campaign.

  • Understand the River Cats brand essence and create and develop impactful artwork and designs.

  • Suggest new ideas and approach to the River Cats marketing strategy.

  • Responsible for all game day programs, “Inside Pitch”.

  • Other duties will be designated by the Company as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts and/or related field along with 2+ years of professional design experience with agency or professional sports team desired.

  • Hard working individual that enjoys working independently.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Must know Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
  • HTML experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload, with on-time and high-quality delivery. Ability to work under tight/strict deadlines.

  • Able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.

  • Must have good organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must have good communication and excellent writing skills.

  • Professional and positive attitude, ability to take direction and feedback from various sources.

  • Must work well in a team environment.
