Administration/General Management: Human Resources Management
Coordinator, Human Resources - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Responsible for scheduling all game day staff for all events (River Cats games, Raley Field events/Concerts, Outside Events).

  • Responsible to make any schedule changes, which includes shift exchanges between employees, adding/removing positions based on expected attendance.

  • Schedule events that were added after availability calendars/schedules are released.

  • Run employee reports in ABI for example attendance reports.

  • Assist in tracking employee attendance.

  • Documenting in ABI/TMSS all attendance deviations, comments from game log and other miscellaneous emails/comments.

  • Responsible for all timekeeping/WIP editing for game day staff.

  • Payroll discrepancies – request and submit a correction due to payroll error.

  • Process all new hire documents which includes, background screening, post offer drug tests department specific.

  • Assist in entering new hires or terminate employees in ABI and ADP.

  • Prepare all new hire packets, orientation materials and any other handouts necessary.

  • Prepare all termination letters and documents to mail to exiting employees.

  • Maintain personnel files, I-9 and EEO.

  • Assist in posting all open positions on TeamWork, university and college sites.

  • Screen incoming resumes and forward candidates onto hiring managers.

  • Schedule group interviews for seasonal positions and assist with actual interview sessions.

  • Respond to employee emails/phone messages.

  • Send email blasts out to game day staff regarding (scheduling, heat illness, newsletter and update on safety contest).

  • Responsible for all filing of personnel documents and maintaining legal postings bulletin boards.

  • Assist with orientation and training of new hires and prep all name tags and badges.

  • Work with Team Store to order all game day staff uniforms.

  • Maintain employee lounge bulletin boards and update safety board.  

  • Employee Hotline – check hotline daily and respond to messages.

  • Prepare and send out end of season layoff letters to employees.

  • Organize and schedule rehire paperwork for returning employees.

  • Help coordinate preseason and end of season parties.

  • Update and prepare training Power Point and all supplies needed for training/orientation.

  • Keep track of safety contest and distribute prizes.

     

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • College degree and/or previous HR experience a plus.

  • Experience using TMSS/ABI a plus.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at once.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, organization and time management.

  • Must be detailed oriented.

  • Must have a sense of urgency and know how to prioritize.

  • Customer service experience desired.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office.

Inside Sales Representative - Part Time - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

The Inside Sales Representative is an entry level position in which you will learn about the sports industry from a ticket sales perspective.  You will be soliciting potential clients by phone to sell season seats and group outings all while providing outstanding service to our guests and clients. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Be responsible for sales of Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field ticket inventory.

  • Approximately 20-25 hours per week.

  • Compensation is hourly and there is commission on revenue.

  • Conduct 100 or more cold calls per day.

  • Work on a daily basis to generate new leads and creative ways to sell tickets.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.

  • Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients.

  • Actively research and prospect new sales leads.

  • Professionally represent the organization.

  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.

  • Work as a member of the TEAM, and have fun!
