Accurately handle large amounts of cash transactions and distribution of raffle tickets.

Reconcile and report raffle totals of 50/50 Raffle Coordinator at close of the 6th inning.

Experience handling cash in a customer service role.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers and a variety of duties relating to cafeteria-style service including cold food preparation, stocking counters and steam table, and maintaining sanitation standards.

SUMMARY:

This position assists the Concessions Manager with supervision of the concessions areas to ensure proper inventory of all goods and timely food production, quality guest services and sanitation of stands at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the complete oversight of Concessions operation including the personnel that are employed within the department.

SUMMARY

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for all facility rentals and ticketed events at Raley Field.  The Events Coordinator is responsible for contacting all historical rental clients, finding new clients, preparing financials for each potential rental, organizing all contracts, and executing each rental.  We are looking for an energetic individual who is eager to build a book of business at Raley Field.

SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

The Inside Sales Representative is an entry level position in which you will learn about the sports industry from a ticket sales perspective.  You will be soliciting potential clients by phone to sell season seats and group outings all while providing outstanding service to our guests and clients. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Be responsible for sales of Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field ticket inventory.

  • Approximately 20-25 hours per week.

  • Compensation is hourly and there is commission on revenue.

  • Conduct 100 or more cold calls per day.

  • Work on a daily basis to generate new leads and creative ways to sell tickets.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.

  • Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients.

  • Actively research and prospect new sales leads.

  • Professionally represent the organization.

  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.

Big Picture: A Inside Sales Account Executive will be equipped with the best sales training in sports and will run his/her own business.  You will be calling and meeting with existing and potential clients as well as generating new leads while working with our existing sales team to fulfill its goals of maximizing ticket sales revenue and providing solutions to our customers. The solution will be season tickets, group tickets, hospitality options and more.  Who can say no to that?

  • Responsible for sales of Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field ticket inventory, including but not limited to non-business group outings, Theme Nights, Nightly Hospitality Areas.

  • Work with the sales staff to generate new leads and research new and creative ways to sell tickets.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.

  • Leadership and oversight of in-game group events.

  • Professionally represent the organization at business and community functions.

  • Work as a member of the TEAM, and Have Fun!

  • Strong interpersonal skills a must.
  • Superior organizational habits and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Ticketmaster are crucial for this position. The ticketing system can be learned during training by the candidate.
  • Sales experience is required. Strong background in customer service is a plus.

Facility Operations/Security: Server/Concessions
Line Cook-Part Time - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service for customers and a variety of duties related to restaurant style service, including cold and hot food preparation, stocking coolers and maintaining sanitation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Check and stock supplies in the workstation neatly, accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Inform cooks in a timely manner when food quantities are low.

  • Display food under appropriate hot or cold conditions as per standards.

  • Maintain appropriate portion control and merchandising standards. 

  • Keep Counter and floor in work area clean and free of debris.

  • Comply with department and company policies and procedures.

  • Comply with sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and/or dining areas.

  • Ensure your workstation is prepared and ready to prepare food at all times.

This position will be a sales focused service position. The Membership Experience Specialist will manage between 350 and 450 season ticket accounts, and be responsible for a personal sales goal. This is a perfect position for someone who loves developing relationships, creating unique events, driving revenue through relationship sales, and creating memorable fan experiences.  The Membership Experience Specialist duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and executing a touch point plan designed for the membership experience team

  • Achieving personal touch point goals with accounts

  • Achieve a personal sales goal through relationship building, upselling, cross selling, & referrals

  • Achieve a personal Renewal Goal

  • Educate Season Ticket Members on all benefits included with our memberships

  • Attend all membership events as part of the touch point plan

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be a sales focused service position. The Membership Experience Specialist will manage between 250 and 300 season ticket accounts, and be responsible for a personal sales goal.  The Membership Experience Specialist’s duties will include but are not limited to:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Achieving personal touch point goals with accounts to ensure that premium service is achieved to season ticket members

  • Achieve a personal sales goal through relationship building, upselling, & cross selling

  • Achieve a personal Renewal Goal

  • Attend all membership events as part of the touch point plan

  • Develop Mini Membership events to create unique and creative ways to get face to face with members

  • Handle day to day operation of service team, including but not limited to: making phone calls to current members, exchanging tickets, problem resolution

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

SUMMARY:

The Porter is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in the concession stands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitors stock levels, obtains supplies and equipment as requested by management.

Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.

Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility.

Ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.

Understands the importance of prompt and efficient service and continually demonstrates this to the Bartenders, Servers, Concession Attendants and Management.

Consistently stocks and organizes inventory based on first in, first out.

Demonstrates exceptional time management skills and responds promptly to last minute requests.

Demonstrates the ability to maintain equipment standards. Reports any equipment malfunctions immediately.

Consistently follows departmental guidelines for sanitation and safety standards.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet guests, answer incoming calls, and direct calls accordingly.
  • Act as a central information source to the public, seasonal employees and full time coworkers.
  • Responsible for outgoing and incoming deliveries (UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL).
  • Ensure Suite Lobby is presentable at all times, prep lobby area in the morning and complete closing procedures for lobby/reception area at night.

Stadium Operations Laborer - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

SUMMARY

Main responsibilities include maintaining Raley Field by doing repairs, beautification projects, general maintenance and setting up for events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Painting projects in and around the stadium

  • Minor repairs on the facility and equipment

  • Set up for baseball games

  • Set up for special events and concerts

  • Complete all jobs on time and to standards set forth my Facility Supervisor/Director, Stadium Operations

  • Identify facility and ops needs

  • Maintaining the appearance of the facility

  • Installation of signage throughout the facility

  • Maintenance of restrooms and fixtures

  • Change out light bulbs and fluorescent tubes

  • Maintain office area and furniture

  • Cleaning of public areas of the stadium

  • Proper knowledge and implementation of safety procedures

SUMMARY:

 

The Street Team is responsible for representing the Sacramento River Cats outside of Raley Field. Street Team seeks and establishes relationships with events and organizations to develop grass roots marketing opportunities to promote the River Cats. Street Team members are expected to have a positive outgoing attitude as well as a diligent and detail oriented work ethic. Street Team members are responsible for generating interest in the River Cats from the public at a variety of events by creating a positive and welcoming environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Represent the River Cats with an enthusiastic, outgoing and positive attitude

  • Offer a unique memorable experience for guests and exceptional customer service

  • Coordinate on site activities such as prize incentives, trivia, and games with fans

  • Knowledgeable about Marketing initiatives, promotions and ticket packages

  • Assist in expanding the River Cats database through community involvement

  • Take photos, flyer and offer collateral hand-outs at events

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently

  • Understand the purpose of each event and execute with professionalism

  • Seek out events and opportunities for street team activity

  • Develop programs and events that bring revenue to the River Cats and Raley Field

  • Additional duties as assigned
