Account Executive - Season and Group Sales - Nashville Sounds (Nashville, TN)

The Nashville Sounds are looking for a talented sales executive to join our ticket sales team.  Their responsibilities would include the sales of season tickets, group packages and hospitality areas.  This individual will be held to a high standard for sales as well as expected to deliver excellent customer service to all clients and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
  • Prospect for quality leads, selling season tickets, groups and hospitality areas for all baseball events through outbound calls and appointments
  • Develop and grow a database of business and individual prospects  
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing clients and prospects at all home games and other events as needed
  • Meet or exceed all sales goals as assigned

Qualifications:

  •          Two (2) years sales experience in sports and entertainment preferred
  •          College graduate (4) year degree required
  •          Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  •          Excellent written and oral communication skills
  •          Archtics ticketing system & CRM experience preferred
  •          Ability to make at least 50 outbound phone calls on a daily basis required
  •          Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by events
  •          MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook computer skills

Sales & Marketing: Event Operations/Management
Director, Special Events - Nashville Sounds (Nashville, TN)

This position, which reports to the Vice President of Operations, will focus on utilizing and maximizing event space at First Tennessee Park throughout the year. This person will generate sales through outbound calls, following up with inquiries, and by attending area networking events. This individual’s focus is to proactively book events, provide excellent customer service, and create memorable experiences and exceed event expectations. A successful candidate for the Special Events Manager position must be a self-motivated individual with strong sales, customer service, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate a sales and marketing plan targeting special events/facility rentals for First Tennessee Park
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate multiple complex assignments and projects across multiple organizational departments
  • Complete the sales process with focus on maximizing each sale with upgrades
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation for all events (responsible for estimates, cost projections, executing contracts, and tracking event budgets)
  • Work with other Department Managers on cross-selling plans and referral-based leads
  • Attend business networking events including chamber functions in Nashville and surrounding communities
  • Conduct tours and host information sessions for current and prospective clients
  • Continually provide exceptional guest, partner, and client experiences
  • Assist in other areas of the organization as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful candidate will have a superior sales and customer service mind-set Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, diplomacy in all situations, and enthusiasm

We are looking for a high energy and dedicated sports sales professional to join our senior management team. The Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service will not only lead our ticket sales team but be a major contributor to the development of our new organizational structure serving as one of our five senior executives.

Reports directly to General Manager/COO:

• Develop, grow, and oversee all aspects of the ticket sales operations, including box office and ticket sales staff
• Generate, sell and direct all ticket revenue sources (season tickets, mini plans, group tickets, hospitality events, and suites) for the sales team

As the Nashville Sounds have entered an exciting time in franchise history, we are looking for a high energy and dedicated sports sales professional to join our senior management team.  The Vice President of Corporate Sales & Marketing will not only lead our sales team but be a major contributor to the development of our new organizational structure.

Reports directly to COO and General Manager:

  • Develop sponsorship leads, while also presenting and selling corporate sponsorship and ticket packages to local businesses
  • Create packages and develop new promotional ideas to suit the needs of prospective corporate sales
  • Renew existing accounts
  • Representative will be responsible for creation, placement, and implementation of all advertisements for Nashville Sounds’ games and promotions; examples include, but are not limited to: digital billboards, print ads, TV commercials and radio spots.
  • Ability to work towards both individual and team based sales goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to group accounts, both new and renewals
  • Renew existing Sponsorship Sales & Group Sales Accounts
  • Ability to work with head of ticketing to create new ticket revenues streams
  • Responsible for individual and team short- and long-term sales goals
  • Develop sales collateral
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings, includes lead management and distribution of current and new accounts to sales team
  • Coordinate all radio broadcasts, including live remotes
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and marketing methods, costs and results
