Group Sales Account Executive - El Paso Chihuahuas (El Paso, TX)

Position Overview:

The Account Executive’s main responsibility is to produce group ticket revenue by developing and maintaining group ticket accounts. The AE will sell new group accounts to decision makers within businesses and non-profit organizations. The AE will also sell new season seat accounts through outside sales appointments with businesses, and over the phone sales to local residences.

Essential Job Functions:
• Meet all sales goals assigned.
• Set appointments over the phone with decision-makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales appointments.
• Master all sales presentations (taught in sales training), and deliver it in front of company decision-makers, tailoring packages according to each company's needs, and handling objections in an effort to bring in new season seat accounts.
• Develop and maintain a database of potential group- and season-seat customers.
• Contact group leaders through the database and through new leads, particularly after a direct mail piece is released, to bring in new sales.
• Prospect for quality leads, particularly through asking for referrals.
• Provide customer service to existing accounts by visiting with them during games, as well as provide amenities.
• Make phone calls during the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact with ticket holders.
• Work with the Box Office to update certain sales reports.
• Complete any customer service an operational duties in season as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

YOU MUST HAVE A MIN OF ONE YEAR SELLING TICKETS in Groups, less than 1 year need not apply!

We will not consider any applicants without specific minor/major league baseball experience or other sports team sales experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.

Sponsor Services Coordinator - Oklahoma City Dodgers (Oklahoma City, OK)

The Sponsor Services Coordinator will be responsible for interacting directly with sponsors and suite holders on behalf of the team.  Also responsible for executing all elements found in sponsor and suite holder contracts, including customized promotions, media, and special events.  Reports to the President/General Manager with accountability to the Director of Sponsorship Services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand each sponsor and suite holder contract assigned
  • Act as project manager for key departmental areas of focus, such as radio partnership, employee of the game program, community efforts, etc.
  • Plan out the timeline for and execution of each element in the sponsor contract including, but not limited to:
    • Implement and attend planning meetings; brainstorm with sponsors on how to best meet their goals and utilize their sponsorship to the fullest
    • In-stadium signage
    • Market sponsor promotions
    • Secure and distribute ticketing inventory
    • Executing ballpark events for sponsor employees or key relationships
    • Facilitate mascot appearances
  • Create and execute promotions to meet the business goals of the sponsor including:
    • Working with sponsors and team staff on creation of POS collaterals, newspaper ads, in-stadium signage, website promoting, newsletter text, radio, social media etc.
  • Event planning and execution of all sponsor events at the stadium including large company picnics, softball games/tournaments, luncheons, team building activities, field days, public events, etc.
  • Document items throughout the season and create a comprehensive annual report for each sponsor at the conclusion of the season
  • Support sponsors and other guests in the stadium at games and other events
  • Work most home games (including many nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Provide VIP pre-game tours
  • Enact sponsor plaza events and promotions before and during games
  • Maintain and work within sponsor budgets
  • Execute suite holder leases including providing VIP tours, facilitating ticket requests, etc.
  • Position will require use of Ticketmaster Archtics software and CRM software for relationship management
  • Work tirelessly to find other opportunities to over-deliver on value for sponsors
