You’ll be coached by a leadership team that has a combined 25+ years of sports sales and management experience. They’ll be your Coaching Staff that is on the ground with you on sales calls and meetings as well as providing dedicated individual and team training sessions.

THE GAMEPLAN

This is a full-time position and a great launching point to begin your career in sports ticket sales. You'll be making phone calls, scheduling meetings, and attending events with qualified Aces prospects to sell them ticket packages. You’ll develop and manage relationships while providing exemplary customer service. The majority of your time will be spent in the office but you may work various community and in-ballpark events along with all of our 70+ home games. We don’t expect you already understand how to sell ticket packages. We’ll provide you with first class training and support to help you be successful.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Make phone calls to qualified prospects with a focus on generating full season and partial season ticket sales for the Aces
2. Manage relationships of both ticket package accounts you sell as well as inherited accounts
3. Be available to work up to 70+ home games servicing clients
4. Other duties as assigned

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Inside Sales Representative is an entry level position in which you will learn about the sports industry from a ticket sales perspective. You will be soliciting potential clients by phone to sell season seats and group outings all while providing outstanding service to our guests and clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Be responsible for sales of Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field ticket inventory.
• Approximately 20 hours per week.
• Compensation is hourly and there is commission on revenue.
• Conduct 100 or more cold calls per day.
• Work on a daily basis to generate new leads and creative ways to sell tickets.
• Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.
• Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients.
• Actively research and prospect new sales leads.
• Professionally represent the organization.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Work as a member of the TEAM, and have fun!

How? You will be equipped with the best sales training in sports and will run your own business. You will be interacting with group leaders, company planners, civic organizations and the such, small to large and providing solutions to their specific needs.

Detailed Description:

• Responsible for selling Tacoma Rainiers group packages.
• Responsible for servicing sales accounts by providing unsurpassed customer service.
• Responsible for generating and developing new business through leads lists, name collection activities, cold calls, networking events, speaking engagements, etc.
• Maintain a high standard of integrity during the sales and service process with each customer.
• Attend team and community events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities.
• Keep accurate sales files, customer service files, call reports, appointment schedule reports, prospects reports, etc. Maintain weekly communication on all activity reports.
• Follows and ensures implementation of all team sales programs.
• Assist with the development of team sales databases.
• Assist with sales campaigns.
• Works with Event Services to implement sales themes, promotions and events.
• Network within the local business area to acquire new business.
• Responsible for in-stadium activities relating to the function of ticket sales (ie. Customer Service Booth, promotions, name generation opportunities, meet and greets, etc).
• Responsible for renewing established accounts from year to year.

Hours of Work: This position will have game day responsibilities. Typical hours of non-game day work will be 8 AM – 5 PM (and beyond). Estimated game day hours will be 9 AM – 10 PM.

Compensation Package:
• Full time salary position. Pay scale based on experience.
• Commission/bonus based on new sales, team sales goals and renewals
