Concessions Supervisor- Full Time Seasonal Only - Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, LLC (West Sacramento, CA)

SUMMARY:

This position assists the Concessions Manager with supervision of the concessions areas to ensure proper inventory of all goods and timely food production, quality guest services and sanitation of stands at all times. This position requires you to work full time during the River Cats baseball season..

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the complete oversight of Concessions operation including the personnel that are employed within the department.

  • Assist in aligning optimal POS and TPV for all public events

  • Assist HR in developing training standards for alcohol service, food service, customer service, safety, harassment, etc.

  • Assist in the creative process for new products, locations, events and menus.

  • Assist with construction or renovation plans and their execution.

  • Assist in the scheduling of employees and the ordering of appropriate stock in preparation for events.

  • Maintain inventory areas in an organized and procedural fashion.

  • Assist in the development and use of inventory spreadsheet management, month end procedures and overall control of F&B inventory.

  • Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating customer concerns. 

  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol, sanitation, health and safety regulations, laws and policies.

  • Recommend and maintain a pro-active human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training, development and compliance.

  • Maintain effective internal inventory controls within the entire F&B operation.

  • Effectively manage food levels and production in a timely manner for all storefront and TPV event operations.

  • Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

  • Assist in the acquisition and management of the rental and operation of all equipment that needs to be used by the concessions and warehouse operation.

  • Positively interact with facility personnel to obtain operational needs information for all events.

  • Comply with established Company policies and procedures.

  • Maximize sales potential through aggressive marketing of the facility’s Food and Beverage outlets.

  • Comply with all applicable state, local and federal laws and regulations.

  • Ensure proper, accurate, and timely production records in order to service guests and control food cost.

  • Verify and maintain inventory at established levels.

  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times.

  • Adhere to processes for daily inventory of chargeable items in each stand prior to arrival of staff members.

  • Minimize legal liability and conform to the regulations of the alcohol beverage authority.

  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance.

  • Follow purchase procedures for all products required within the defined operation.

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive F&B management and supervisory experience. 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Knowledge of personal computer, two-way radio, cellular phone, POS Systems and working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment.

  • In Depth Knowledge of food and beverage storefront operations.

  • Experience in reconciling inventory to cash scenarios via POS systems

  • Position requires occasional lifting of up to 150 pounds in weight (kegs and boxes).  Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
