SUMMARY:

This position washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups and small equipment for the department, while maintaining the dishroom and dish machine in a sanitary and organized condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, silverware and kitchen items including storage racks, floors, walls, dish area and any other items requested.

  • Ensure that all ppm levels for sanitizer on dish machine and pot sinks are at specific requirements for health standards.

  • Keep utensil racks, dish storage area, mop room, banquet area, dish closets, garbage cans, glassware storage area, bakeware storage and any other storage areas for kitchen wares storage clean and orderly.

  • Set up, break down, clean and polish dish machine, including arms, screens and baskets. 

  • Remove trash from dishroom and places in dumpster.  Clean and sanitize garbage cans and keep clean liners in cans at all times.

  • Clean and keep dishroom area neat.

  • Place all utensils, items, glassware, pots, pans and all other kitchen supplies in proper storage.

  • Keep all lowerators clean, polished and neatly stored.

  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to participate in a team environment.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supporting the Storefront Manager with all duties in the warehouse under limited supervision. This position requires you to work full time during the River Cats baseball season.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the control procedures are being used for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining this supply system.

  • Supervise, as requested, clerical data entry staff involved in transmitting all warehousing documentation to the corporate office.

  • Coordinate all warehousing activities with management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school degree.

  • Associates Degree Preferred

Main responsibilities include maintaining Raley Field by doing repairs, beautification projects, general maintenance and setting up for events.

Job Description

 

Job Title: Suites & Club Manager (Premium Areas)

Department:  Food and Beverage

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Full Time (Exempt or Non-Exempt)

 

SUMMARY:

This position prepares and executes the catering function for any events at the facility including suites and promotes and implements sales strategies for new and existing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and oversee all premium catered functions.  May work directly with the customer in setting up and following through on all details of any suite or catering related event.

  • Maintain ServSafe and TIPS certifications.

  • Oversee the training of all Suite and Catering related personnel.

  • Establish, implement, and hold accountable all staff to the standards for; proper table/counter set up and service, for suites and catering.

  • Staff all areas as necessitated by GM and Client.

  • Work with Executive Chef in planning menus, and sometimes aid in the creation of specialty menus and theme functions.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all suite and catering clients.

  • Push the limits of creativity in all food and beverage presentations.

  • Manage all inventory levels of small wares associated with service and display.

  • Create, instruct and participate in function setups.

  • Become proficient in use of the Catering platform in the Bypass system; for menus, pricing, customers set up and invoicing.

  • Assist as necessary in the collection of all funds due River City Concessions, LLC for F&B services rendered.

  • Oversee all Premium Club and Deck areas on event days; to include Suites and Legacy Club, etc.

  • Directly oversee Premium Supervisors.

  • Arrange for the rental of small wares, tables, video, audio equipment, game equipment and linens as necessary.

  • Coordinate all F&B activities for all Premium level events

  • Book or recommend entertainment such as bands, speakers, or specialty acts, if requested by customer.

  • Organize and arrange for decorations, flowers and photographs as necessary.

  • Conform to the regulations of the alcohol beverage authority.

  • Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

  • Establish and maintain accurate filing and posting systems for past, tentative and upcoming events.

  • Disseminate information to all concerned department heads and staff members and distribute detailed function sheets at staff meetings.

  • Lead internal weekly BEO meetings to ensure successful planning for each event.

  • Assist with Hiring and training staff members. Partner with Human Resources on any disciplinary concerns/action needed.

  • Handle customer complaints regarding catered functions and take action as appropriate.

  • Prepare contracts to include all specified details concerning suites and catered events.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

  • Participate as necessary in public events that require no premium services.

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive food and beverage experience in catering/banquet operations.

  • Knowledge of personal computer, two-way radio, cellular phone, POS Systems and working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment.

  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

  • Must have the ability to express direction both written and oral to others. 

  • College degree in restaurant/hotel field or equivalent experience. 

  • Must possess an in depth knowledge of food and beverage procedures, control, and administration as well as a complete awareness and ability to perform all catering positions.

  • Required to lift and carry items up to 35 pounds on a regular and routine basis.

The General Manager for Food and Beverage is responsible for the oversight of the entire Food and Beverage operation.

  • Ensure that the stadium food operations both internally and externally is ready for games and all other Raley Field events and that it is presentable year-round for ballpark visitors.

  • Previous experience managing and overseeing food and beverage at a ballpark, stadium or some type of entertainment facility required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

In-Seat Server

SUMMARY:

The in-seat server takes orders from Club Seating patrons, transmits orders to kitchen and ensures customer satisfaction with orders once delivered by the in-seat runner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers upon arrival to seats.

  • Deliver and re-supply menus to seats.

  • Take orders and transmit to kitchen.

  • Insure customers who order alcohol are legally able to do so. 

  • May assist runners in delivering backorders of food and beverages.

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Basic knowledge of beer and wine

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service for customers and a variety of duties related to restaurant style service, including cold and hot food preparation, stocking coolers and maintaining sanitation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Check and stock supplies in the workstation neatly, accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Inform cooks in a timely manner when food quantities are low.

  • Display food under appropriate hot or cold conditions as per standards.

  • Maintain appropriate portion control and merchandising standards. 

  • Keep Counter and floor in work area clean and free of debris.

  • Comply with department and company policies and procedures.

  • Comply with sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and/or dining areas.

  • Ensure your workstation is prepared and ready to prepare food at all times.

  • Comply with applicable health and safety regulations and procedures.

  • Stock and prepare product for the following day’s event.

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions

  • Must work well in a team environment

  • Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment

  • Ability to follow oral and written direction

  • Must be able to communicate to all guests as well as co-workers in a professional manner.

  • Familiarity with, and experience using common kitchen equipment such as; Flat top grill, char broiler, fryers, steamer, convection oven, etc.

  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length and have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently. 

  • Must be able to work in extremes of cold and heat.

Job Title: Cash Room Attendant

Department:  Food and Beverage

Reports To:  Office Manager

FLSA Status: Part Time Non-Exempt

 

SUMMARY:

The Cash Room Attendant will facilitate cash bank distribution, change replenishment, and cash collection before, during, and after the games/events. You will also be responsible for change ordering, deposit preparation, and vault fund reconciliation. The environment is fast paced and requires a terrific attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with cash handling practices and procedures to ensure that company policies are followed.

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and other administrative responsibilities.

Must be able to maintain an organized work area perform with a high level of detail in a fast paced, high pressured environment.

Responsible for counting and balancing large sums of cash and cash receipts.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide large sums of cash.

Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures.

Standard reporting, event close, and post event documentation.
Vault / change fund operations.
Cash collection throughout the Ballpark.
Cash bank distribution and assignment.
Cash bag collection, counting, posting, and reconciliation.
Cash audit.
Performs special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience in vault / change fund management in event venues preferred.
Prior experience with cash handling required.
Able to move fast and act on assigned duties.
Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established by the company.
Must be able to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner.
Must be able to perform basic math, (add and subtract, multiply and divide).
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
High energy, detailed orientated, and a self-starter.
Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment required.
